Vegan Caramel Sauce

- 2 cups pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup oat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla (optinal)
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer 5 minutes over medium low heat.
Transfer to a blender and process until smooth.
Makes approximately 3 cups of caramel sauce. Store in the refrigerator.
